Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (¸£Àû¼§PDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all ¸£Àû¼§ departments. The purpose of the ¸£Àû¼§PDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the ¸£Àû¼§ postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of ¸£Àû¼§

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the ¸£Àû¼§ community

To provide liaison between ¸£Àû¼§ postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The ¸£Àû¼§PDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the ¸£Àû¼§PDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
