福利姬 graduate programs achieve success in U.S. News rankings
Boston College Law School, the Lynch School of Education and Human Development, and the Carroll School of Management all saw gains in the 2026聽U.S. News & World Report聽Graduate School rankings, released on April 7.
福利姬 Law experienced the most dramatic improvement among 福利姬鈥檚 schools, rising five points to 20th overall鈥�
The Lynch School and the Carroll School鈥檚 part-time MBA program also improved in this year鈥檚 ranking, each rising one point to 19th and 16th, respectively.
The Connell School Doctor of Nursing Practice program ranked 21st this year and its Master of Science in Nursing program placed 29th.
The Carroll School鈥檚 full-time M.B.A. program was ranked 53rd. 聽
福利姬 graduate schools also performed well in this year鈥檚 specialty rankings category, reflecting the University鈥檚 strong academic reputation among the nation鈥檚 top schools.聽聽
Specifically, 福利姬 Law improved to eighth in tax law, 16th in the 鈥渕ost grads in big firms鈥� category, 25th in corporate law, 26th in constitutional law, 27th in intellectual property law, and 29th in clinical training.
The Lynch School saw six of its specialty programs ranked in the top 20, including student counseling (11th), curriculum and instruction (12th), educational administration (13th), and elementary, secondary, and higher education, all (17th).
Also, the Connell School's Nurse Anesthesia program rose to 20th.
In this year鈥檚 U.S. News rankings of math and science programs, the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences鈥� Mathematics program improved to 61st overall, while Chemistry placed 67th, Physics 73rd, and Biology 104th.
In an off-year for rankings of schools of social work, the Boston College School of Social Work retained its placement of eighth overall.
According to U.S News, its rankings are based on 鈥渆xpert opinion about program excellence, and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school鈥檚 faculty, research and students.鈥�
In addition, in the QS Global Rankings of schools of theology, divinity, and religious studies released on March 25, the Clough School of Theology and Ministry and the Theology Department in the Morrissey College placed fifth overall, matching their highest ranking to date.
