腦瞳憫 graduate programs achieve success in U.S. News rankings

Boston College Law School, the Lynch School of Education and Human Development, and the Carroll School of Management all saw gains in the 2026U.S. News & World ReportGraduate School rankings, released on April 7.

腦瞳憫 Law experienced the most dramatic improvement among 腦瞳憫s schools, rising five points to 20th overall

The Lynch School and the Carroll Schools part-time MBA program also improved in this years ranking, each rising one point to 19th and 16th, respectively.

The Connell School Doctor of Nursing Practice program ranked 21st this year and its Master of Science in Nursing program placed 29th.

The Carroll Schools full-time M.B.A. program was ranked 53rd.

腦瞳憫 graduate schools also performed well in this years specialty rankings category, reflecting the Universitys strong academic reputation among the nations top schools.

Specifically, 腦瞳憫 Law improved to eighth in tax law, 16th in the most grads in big firms category, 25th in corporate law, 26th in constitutional law, 27th in intellectual property law, and 29th in clinical training.

The Lynch School saw six of its specialty programs ranked in the top 20, including student counseling (11th), curriculum and instruction (12th), educational administration (13th), and elementary, secondary, and higher education, all (17th).

Also, the Connell School's Nurse Anesthesia program rose to 20th.

In this years U.S. News rankings of math and science programs, the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences Mathematics program improved to 61st overall, while Chemistry placed 67th, Physics 73rd, and Biology 104th.

In an off-year for rankings of schools of social work, the Boston College School of Social Work retained its placement of eighth overall.

According to U.S News, its rankings are based on expert opinion about program excellence, and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a schools faculty, research and students.

In addition, in the QS Global Rankings of schools of theology, divinity, and religious studies released on March 25, the Clough School of Theology and Ministry and the Theology Department in the Morrissey College placed fifth overall, matching their highest ranking to date.
